IJK open to alliance for TN Assembly Polls: Pachamuthu
Chennai Wednesday, Aug 25 2010 IST
The Indhiya Jananayaka Katchi (IJK) is open to alliance for the forthcoming Assembly Elections in Tamil Nadu, its Founder-President T R Pachamuthu said today.
Speaking at a function organised in connection with his birthday celebrations here last evening, the Educationist Politician said the party would forge an alliance and contest the elections.
''Our party is ready to face the elections and prove ourselves in the democratic arena,'' he said at the birthday function celebrated as ''Youth Empowerment Day''.
He said if no party came forward to forge an alliance, the IJK would go it alone. He exuded confidence the party, on its own, would win at least 46 seats in the State.
